I am originally from the Philadelphia area who moved to the west coast after graduating from Rutgers University. I was alternative school teacher for a few years before joining the military shortly after 9/11. I went on to serve 16 years and afterwards I was a director of a transitional housing program. I began writing fiction in 2015, first as just a fun exercise experimenting with creativity, and after a period of time publish seven books. It is still a fun exercise but I have branched out to film production.

I am married to Robyn Ramsey who operates two small businesses. Our son (Damian) is a San Diego State University graduate and a business owner himself. I am an avid reader who prefers the classics and a lover of the outdoors. Favorite sport is football and the team I have rooted for the last several decades is the New England Patriots.
