I was born in Bulgaria. I moved by myself to the USA after graduating college. I ended up in San Diego after a quick Google search for the best places to live in the USA. San Diego was rated as the finest city in America with stunning beaches and great weather and I was convinced that this is where I have to be.
About Natalie May
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My family is still in Bulgaria. They visit me every couple of years. The only family member who hasn’t visited yet is my parent’s dog, Jack. He is still working on his English.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
I own The Mopping Duck. It’s a commercial and residential cleaning company. What I love about our job is that you see the results of your hard work right away. A clean space creates a cleaner physical and mental environment. So we help people feel happier and better about their space.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
To have more fun in their lives. To make an effort to seek out and try new things and to intentionally choose happiness every single day.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself developing more leadership skills, taking on larger projects, and making more contributions to our community.
