I am an art dealer, documentary filmmaker, and Native American entrepreneur. I have lived in San Diego, my whole life, residing from the Rincon band of Luiseño Indians, located in Valley Center.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

We are the OG Californians with history, dating back 23,000 years as the original people on this land.

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

I have been an art dealer for three decades. I love art, and everything to do with creativity because it documents the time we are alive on the Earth.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Be kind and follow your passion! You only get one life that we know about

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

Over seeing major art collections as a curator of Native American, art along with preserving our culture through documentary filmmaking.

Q: What are a couple of your favorite restaurants in our community?

Lavvo and Seneca Italian. Huntress in Gaslamp.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

I am celebrating 27 years as an art dealer in San Diego

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

Artist James, Hubbell, and Artist, VICTOR Ochoa. Both of these men have shaped they are seen here in San Diego.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

San Diego waterfront bar because it was the first one in San Diego.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

I like San Diego because of its diversity in thought and culture

Q: If you could choose anyone that is alive today and not a relative; with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would y’all meet for this lunch?

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

Currently, I love billions it’s a great series with wonderful dialogue.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

When I was 13 years old, I kissed Frank Zappa.

Q: What would you rate a 10 out of 10?

It doesn’t exist! Perfection is an illusion.

Q: Who inspires you to be better?

My partner, Jens, and my daughter Isabella. I want to do better because of them.
