Grew up in Escondido and graduated from San Pasqual HS.
College –  University of Portland.
Played 12 years for the US Women’s National Team – two world cups and three Olympics – 176 career appearances.
– 1999 World Champion; 1996 Olympic Gold Medalist; 2002 US Soccer Female Athlete of the Year.
Currently VP of Community Relations for the San Diego Wave FC.
Proud mom to 14-year-old son Brayden.

Partner is Michele and we are proud parents to Brayden and two golden doodles, Alex & Ollie

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

I was blessed with an incredible career playing soccer and now am very fortunate to be able to give back to my community and inspire the next generation through this beautiful game.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Believe, work hard, and find what YOU are passionate about – the passion is what will help you fight through any adversity that you come upon.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

Still living in Cardiff.

I grew up in Escondido and found my way back to San Diego in 2000 after college.

It encourages healthy living.

Lots of walking paths/trails, great local restaurants that are walkable & friends that live close by.
