Danicka is a seasoned real estate professional, serial entrepreneur & wellness advocate who has proven competence in business development, strategy, and operations. She holds a BS in Finance and Economics from Chicago State University.

She currently operates Greenish Brands, a Cannabis Wellness Company.

She is working on projects to improve equity for black farmers of industrial hemp in the US and Africa. She is passionate about normalizing cannabis, proper education while breaking stigmas, fighting for equity in Cannabis, and building generational wealth and legacy for her family.

I am from Chicago. I am a wife and mom of 2 athletic, intelligent, creative children

I am a serial entrepreneur. Previous Real estate agent and investor, currently wellness advocate. I love breaking the stigma of plant medicine and healing my community

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Have fun and meditate daily.

Running a successful wellness company in multiple locations, and more international travel.

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today and not a relative, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

Pinky Cole – Bahn Thai, then picnic at Balboa Park to eat/talk. Pinky b/c she is the epitome of building a billion-dollar cultural brand. She’s creative, creative, and savvy. I admire her work ethic. Picnic at Balboa because I like to sit in the grass and connect. It’s quiet and grounding.

Blindspotting. Lovecraft Country.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

Chicago is home, but I also lived in Atlanta, Minneapolis, Tampa, & Cleveland before I graduated HS early in my Junior year.

My mother and sister. They are both fiercely excellent and taught me to be disciplined, intentional, and community-oriented.

Once you make a decision, the Universe conspires to make it happen.” – Ralph Waldo Emerson. This gives me the courage to follow my gut and move my projects and life forward.

What I love about my Neighborhood:

It is walkable to the ocean, village and both my children’s schools.

Please describe your ideal San Diego weekend:

What I love about San Diego is its proximity to so many elements. I would spend the morning hiking, then brunch by the beach. I would love an outdoor concert or live music. I would spend my last day at San Diego Zoo Safari Park and dinner in Encinitas
