I was born and raised here in San Diego. I grew up in the suburbs of Carmel Mountain as an only child and studied photography since I was very young. My parents told me to follow whatever dream I wanted and have supported me since the beginning. I’ve been a full-time freelance photographer for almost three years now and have no plans of stopping.
About Jacqueline Coronado
Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.
My mom and dad currently are retired in North Carolina. My mom is from Pittsburgh, PA and my dad is from Stockton, CA.
Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?
My career has been 100% focused on photography, videography, and graphic design. I love the variety of art I can bring to the table. The thing I love most about what I do is that there are so many aspects of photography I haven’t even tapped into but I want to learn and continuously grow.
Q: What advice would you give to people?
Do not hold back from what you want. Live your truth.
Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?
I see myself in two areas. I’d either like to have an agency that outsources photographers and videographers while traveling the world shooting weddings. Or I’d like to be a Creative Director for a well-respected brand.
