I was born and raised on the East Coast and spent most of my summers in New Jersey. I am an entrepreneur, early childhood educator, and advocate for early childhood intervention. I own and operate Creative Minds and Curriculum on the Move, a mobile educational program.

Seeing people of color getting out in spaces, like hiking and surfing.

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today and not a relative, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

LaWanda Richmond, because her conversations give me the feel of speaking with an elder like Maya Angelou. She thinks outside the box and advocates for truth and what she feels strongly about. Lunch would be at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Balboa Park.
