Grew up with 5 brothers, Mom & Dad are still here. Wife Kelly, Sons Greg and Levi

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

Used to work in the Aerospace world back in the Star Wars days before I started Wahoo’s Fish Taco with my 2 brothers Ed & Mingo in 1988. I’m taking a break from teaching Marketing at Chapman, Pepperdine & Concordia University’s MBA programs

Build a great network of friends that you can work with, find some mentors

Probably teaching and doing community work

I was an Aerobic Instructor

My brother Mingo, since he is always saying NO. So I have become a crazy creative person

“You can do anything.” This encouragement became the cornerstone of my entrepreneurial journey, inspiring me to overcome challenges and forge my path in the competitive restaurant industry. Embracing the belief that limits are self-imposed, my brothers and I exemplified resilience and innovation in building the Wahoo’s brand. This advice not only serves as a personal philosophy but has also shaped the ethos of Wahoo’s, fostering a culture of determination and fearlessness within the company. Believing that I can do anything stands as a testament to the transformative impact of believing in oneself and the boundless possibilities that come with the mindset that anything is achievable.
