I’ve lived my entire life in California. Born and raised in Sacramento, and moved to San Diego in May of 2010. Met my wife here in San Diego, and now have two beautiful sons and live in La Mesa. I’ve been extremely blessed to develop a respected brand in the real estate industry, and have begun to layer in some keynote speaking and traveling into my day to day real estate business. I have a small, but mighty, team of agents (The Cassity Team) helping our clients buy, sell, and invest all over San Diego County.

About Jason Cassity

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

Im married to my wife, Roxy. We have two boys, Jett (4) and Cruz (2).

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

I worked A LOT of odd jobs throughout High School and College. And then had a few years as a teller, banker, and manager at Wells Fargo before getting my real estate license in 2013.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

Go all out in your 20s & 30s! Because if/when kids come, your priorities shift fast.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

As the team leader of one of the top producing, and well respected, real estate teams in San Diego. Also love the new role that I’ve taken on, helping agents in my network across the US.

Jason Cassity & Our Community

Q: What are a few of your favorite restaurants in our community?

Love HANE Sushi in Bankers Hill. Also a fan of Oscars ceviche & fish tacos. Cowboy Star in Downtown for a high end Steakhouse. Buona Forchetta in South Park for Italian.

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

I moved to San Diego in May of 2010. So 14+ years now.

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

Ashley Evans, lead designer at Basile Studio.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

I grew up in Sacramento. Every other Summer, we would take a family vacation to San Diego. I would often eat at Anthony’s Seafood on the water in Downtown. That location is now gone, but I live RIGHT behind the location in La Mesa (with the pond). So I have a special spot in my heart for Anthony’s.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

Balboa Park & the Zoo are really World Class amenities. We tend to take them for granted, but people travel from across the world to come to our zoo.

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today and not a relative, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

Im a big fan of Gary Vaynerchuk’s approach to marketing. Would love to have lunch with him here locally. Guess it makes sense to take him to Taste & Thirst Downtown, since its a Jets Bar.

For Fun

I used to be a great bowler. Carried a 200+ average over the years.

Toro belly at Hane Sushi.
