Currently, I hold the esteemed positions of President at both the National Latina Business Women Association San Diego and the San Diego County Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Throughout my career, I’ve dedicated myself to serving the community in various capacities. I’ve been an Executive Board Member for organizations like MABPA and the Brindis Committee of MANA, while also contributing to initiatives such as the Gala Committee of the Chicano Federation and Human Trafficking Bilateral Safety. Additionally, I’ve volunteered with Stand Down and in efforts to feed the homeless.
Moreover, my professional journey includes roles as the Executive Assistant to the Mayor of National City and the former Executive Assistant to the Director of the National City Housing Authority, where I assisted in facilitating housing opportunities for low-income families. As the owner of USA Consulting, I’ve brought about significant positive change, including a notable 40% growth in revenue and enhanced diversity within a large private sector company where I served as COO.
I’ve been deeply committed to community welfare, particularly focusing on the well-being of seniors, children, and families. One of my proudest achievements is the initiation of a financial literacy program in collaboration with the Mexican Consulate. These efforts have garnered recognition from various esteemed entities, including the Office of the Governor, Congressman, Senator, Naval Base San Diego, Department of the Army, Consulate General of Mexico, Assemblymembers, and Mayor throughout the Cities respectively.
In the past few years alone, I’ve been featured in prestigious publications such as Celebrano Latinas, Latinas Con Poder, and North County Informador, while also receiving accolades such as the SDBJ Top 50 Latino Leaders of Influence, 2023 East County Regional Chamber of Commerce Women in Leadership, and the SDBJ 500 Most Influential, National City Chamber of Commerce City Staff recognition.
Born in Calexico, grew up working in the fields alongside my parents and siblings, homeless provided me the understanding of the value that hard work and determination have in achieving one’s life goals.
