We are identical twin sisters born in Transylvania Romania. We came to the US to study neuroscience at UCLA. We also do a lot of modeling together.

Q: Please tell us a little bit about your family.

We live together in Carlsbad with our adorable Frenchie Tucker

Q: Please tell us about your current, past, or future career. What do you love most about what you do?

After graduating with Masters of Science in Neuroscience we have been working in brain research for many years at the UCSD Medical Center and the VA Hospital. Our specialty is in schizophrenia research and we love that our career is contributing to science and helping find cures for neurological disorders.

Q: What advice would you give to people?

The advice we would give to people is to be kind, happy, and stay positive.

Q: Where do you see yourself in 5 to 10 years?

In 5 to 10 years we see ourselves taking more vacations and enjoying life

Q: What are a few of your favorite restaurants in our community?

Some of our favorite restaurants in San Diego County are Vigilucci’s in Carlsbad, Park 101 in Carlsbad Village, Vinaka Café also in Carlsbad Village, Gelato 101 in Encinitas, Buena Forchetta in Leucadia

Q: How long have you lived or worked in our community?

We have lived and worked in San Diego County for over 10 years

Q: Who is the most interesting person you’ve met here in our community?

The most interesting person we met in our community is Dawn Hough Sebaugh, a wonderful and talented designer.

Q: What current or former local business makes you the most nostalgic about our community?

One of the businesses we used to love and that makes us nostalgic was Succulent Cafe which used to be located just off Carlsbad Village Drive.

Q: What is your favorite thing or something unique about our community?

Our favorite things about our community are the beautiful beach cities along our coast, including Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, and La Jolla. We love the relaxed beach vibe and sense of community

Q: If you could choose anyone alive today and not a relative, with whom would you love to have lunch? Why? And where locally would you meet for this lunch?

We would love to have lunch with Dawn Hough Sebaugh, our talented designer friend, she’s so kind and welcoming and fun to spend time with. We would meet with her at the Pony Room, a beautiful lunch spot we discovered together after one of our photo shoots.

Q: What is one of your favorite movies? TV shows?

We love watching British crime shows on BritBox.

Q: (Even for friends or family), what is something interesting that most people don’t know about you?

An interesting fact about ourselves that some people don’t know is that we are very skilled in brain surgery on laboratory rodents

We would rate 10 out of 10 the real Napoli-style pizza at Buena Forchetta in Encinitas

Coffee with our Frenchie at a local cafe, walk along the boardwalk and enjoying the beach, lunch outside enjoying the beautiful California weather, and a nice dinner at one of our local restaurants
